Vern and Diane Tanner started Triple T in 1974 in Spanish Fork, Utah. In 1978 Brad, the oldest son, joined his father in the business. In 1982 Steve, the next in line, also joined his father.

For many years Triple T Heating and Cooling was very successful primarily installing systems in LDS church buildings. In the early part of 1990, we decided to diversify and we also began doing service repair work, new residential construction and replacing older systems in homes and businesses.

Jason the youngest son joined the family business in 1992; additionally Lana, Vern and Diane’s youngest daughter changed her career path and took a position as office manager. The company at this time had 10-15 employees.

In 2001 a beautiful gas fireplace showroom was built to complement the various types of gas fireplaces. It became the showpiece of the company with over twenty units operational and on display. Today Triple T Heating and Cooling has nearly 40 team members, much of the staff have moved up in the organization and earned key positions over their career. They contribute in a large degree to the success of the company.

The staff is proud of its proactive approach to education and training. Their focus is providing "Service Beyond Expectations" in an industry that does not normally perform well in that area.

• 1995: Spanish Fork Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year
• 1997: Outstanding Workmanship Award, Home Builders Association
• 2000: Recognized in the National HVAC Trade Magazine "The News"
• 2002: Employees donated time and materials in the Santaquin mud slide, installing heating and cooling in two homes
• 2005: Three out of Utah’s Top Ten Apprentices were from Triple T
• 2007: Voted #1 Heating and Cooling Company in Spanish Fork Area
• 2008: "Extreme home make-over Utah" – Contributed a complete HVAC system for a family in American Fork
• 2009: Contributed materials & labor to the "Veterans of Foreign Wars" project located at Spanish Fork Cemetery
• 2009: Celebrated 35 years in business
• 2010: Donated a support vehicle, to the Spanish Fork Firefighters Association along with 50 carbon monoxide detectors
